	PLEASE HELP-Sore on Female Betta
Bellydancer Fingerling Posts: 31 Kudos: 21 Votes: 0 Registered: 08-Sep-2004	Recently, i noticed my betta was acting strangely. A couple days later, I noticed these red spiky things just behind her ventral fins. I seperated her immediately, and it was then I noticed this open sore with the red spiky things either attached or sticking out of it. She is still eating, and her color hasn't faded. Is it a fungus or a parasite, and how can I treat it? [span class="edited"][Edited by Bellydancer 2004-09-09 12:57][/span]

Bellydancer Fingerling Posts: 31 Kudos: 21 Votes: 0 Registered: 08-Sep-2004	The spikes are red, about 3mm long, and well, they almost remind me of quills, because they look stiff and/or sharp. And they are only located where the wound is, nowhere else on her body.
