The trop should be placed in a separate tank and treated with "Parasite Clear". Because the trop may be severely infested, it may or may not respond to treatment. An enlarged stomach could mean the fish is loaded with parasites. --garyoland. |

This is my first pleco and he has been brought inside so it will be easy to treat him in his tank. I will go straight to the pet store tomorrow and get the meds. I'll keep you posted on how he does.
