Parameters: ammonia 0, PH 7.4, nitrite 0, nitrate 10. I have a 29 gallon tank with (2) 2.5 inch ryukins. One of them has gotten slightly bloated over the past day or so. Today I noticed a small bump or pimple on the one side. It is not red or inflamed, but it has started to ooze a white substance that I assume to be pus, and the bump has gotten smaller. She is acting normally and eating well. What can I medicate with and should I medicate the tank or move her to the hospital tank? Any help is appreciated.

The ryukin, a Chinese fish imported and further developed in Japan is certainly an eye-catcher...

The ryukin, in some respects, is an intermediate between the fantail and the veiltail.

Sometimes they have a problem with parasites, both subdermal and internal and a parasite med should be dosed.

"Parasite Clear", dosed according to directions, is a favorite of mine and may help. All fish may remain in the tank.

Thank you,Garyroland, for the quick response. I'm relieved it isn't TB. I'll dose immediately. All I have on hand is Clout and Hex-a-mit. Will either of those work? If not, I'll go to the lfs in the morning.

"Parasite Clear", because it treats internal and external parasites, is my choice...
