Either way, it is a bacterial problem. If you can isolate the fish, treating with an antibacterial medication should help it out. I would stick with something mild because an injured eye isn't as big a problem as accidently overdosing on a strong medication. If you can't quarantine the clownfish, just try extra water changes and see if it helps. You don't have any other good options if the fish is in a reef. |
