Would someone please enlighten me as to how to serve mashed peas to a constipated Pleco?

What kind of peas do you use? How do you prepare them? How can you get them to the Pleco if he is not moving toward the food being fed to him?

Thank you.

get frozen peas, and shell them so you have two hemispheres, and drop these in, giving them a slight squash to break them up slightly.

They sink very effectively, so just turn the filter down, and drop them right near him.

Also I don't just give them frozen, you can either defrost them in your hands or run them under hot water...then I just mush them between my fingers into the tank...(regular green peas are what I use) I know Cory_Di uses some algae sheets that she gets via email, and they work very well also...once the pleco gets the smell, and taste there is no stopping him...Best of Luck, Heidi
