Our only female guppy gave birth to 69 fry 2 weeks ago and just recently we noticed that 2 of them look as though their stomaches are falling out. I am worried. are we to isolate them?

I would isolate them for the time being, but it sounds to me like you may need to cull them. In a batch of fry that large it is not a surprise to have a couple of culls in the group. It MAY be something else, but more than likely they will require culling. After you put them in isolation, take a frozen pea, soak it in some warm water, pop it out of it's shell, and squish a little between your fingers. If they are constipated, this will help them. A few questions here too that may help figure out if you have a problem other than deformity. What size of a tank is everyone in? What is the total stock in the tank? What are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrItes, nitrAtes, PH...)? Having that many fry growing out in a small tank can throw your parameters off pretty quickly. Good luck with them!

It's probably what Stormy5 mentioned. It's not uncommon for deformed guppy fry to appear in a very heavy batch like yours. If that's the case they will have to be destroyed unfortunately .

p.s. How did you manage to count the exact number of fry? Wow!
