Its black sometimes a bit whitish, shes eat VERY well. I don't think it can be internal parasites. All the other fish are fine. Any ideas? |

I havent any experience with swords and their diet specifically, but goldfish will often have a similar problem if fed too much high protein foods. I use a warmed frozen pea that I've poped from the outer skin and mushed between my fingers. Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003 ![]() ![]() | Do as Babel says...Take some peas from the freezer 4-5 is more than enough...I run them under hot water till they are mushy...then stand over your fish tank and take each pea and pinch them between your finger and thumb, mushing each one then dip in the water...after awhile you can do several at a time...the 4-5 will feed the whole tank...as most fish that I've had love the peas and will fight over them...Good Luck, Heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
