I've got this female sword, shes very active swims around with the guppies but theres always some waste hanging. Its black sometimes a bit whitish, shes eat VERY well. I don't think it can be internal parasites. All the other fish are fine.

Any ideas?

If it's waste that's hanging, it might need more vegetable matter in its diet. I havent any experience with swords and their diet specifically, but goldfish will often have a similar problem if fed too much high protein foods. I use a warmed frozen pea that I've poped from the outer skin and mushed between my fingers.
I know that's not much help but might be worth something.

Do as Babel says...Take some peas from the freezer 4-5 is more than enough...I run them under hot water till they are mushy...then stand over your fish tank and take each pea and pinch them between your finger and thumb, mushing each one then dip in the water...after awhile you can do several at a time...the 4-5 will feed the whole tank...as most fish that I've had love the peas and will fight over them...Good Luck, Heidi
