	Urgent! Please help!
CrimsonaX Hobbyist Posts: 130 Kudos: 57 Registered: 30-May-2007	A white cotton like growth is developing into a red spot. It's also infected my ottos tail! I have some stronger meds since the mela/pima combo doesn't appear to be working, when is the closest time I can start treating with my stronger meds if I treated this morning with mela?

Callatya Moderator The girl's got crabs! Posts: 9662 Kudos: 5261 Registered: 16-Sep-2001	Now. Melafix & pimafix will have very minimal reactions with most stronger meds. Assuming you have readily available OTC drugs, it shouldn't be a problem. Small WC or bung some carbon in for a few hours if you are concerned, but after this length of time the melafix will have dropped in strength a fair bit anyway, I expect. It sounds like it could have been caused by a water infection or another fish. No waiting time needed, mela and pima clash with very few fish meds.
