hey guys I'm just curious, would it be wise to use marine salt for salt baths? It's just that I have a lot of it, and well, I don't want to buy something I already have.

Any ideas ladies and gentlemen?

Ok, did some reading today and learned that marine salt will likely buffer your water up. It can affect your pH.

Maybe you can hawk what you have on eBay

Maybe I can just use it in the tank I bought it for!

Hehehe, no worries.

Can't hurt to ask

Marine salt will raise your PH, up to 8.0-8.3 ......It will also raise your DKH.

My suggestion is to use it on the tank that you bought it for
