 | What is wrong with my gourami? |
Water Baby Fingerling Posts: 29 Kudos: 10 Votes: 3 Registered: 31-Mar-2001   | My 5 year old kissing gourami has a weird thing happening to it. It started when I was treating the tank for white Spot. My Rainbow shark gets into a habit of nipping at the gourami's tail, so I have quarantined the gourami as it had very little tail left, but now it appears to me as if it is bruised/bruising from the tail towards the body. The back half of the body discoloured a reddish (like bruising). Is this fin rot? Infection? PLEASE HELP ME?????? I don't want to lose this fish...:#( |

Secondly take the Gourami to your LFS it could be fin rot but you will need a good medication any way and use as recommended only.
