The higher the temp of the water, the less dissolved oxygen in it, and the fish can actually die from it. It's known as "hypoxyia". Which med did you buy? Test your nitrates, if they are above 10/20ppm it might be an idea to start treatment again - the higher the nitrates, the less effect the meds have as they first react with the nitrates in the water. Its suggested a good water change is made prior to treating to get the organic componds down. x |
