He is in a tank with 4 convicts and he seems to be acting fine but i noticed the other day that he now only has one eye. Is this a big problem and is there anything i should do for him? |

littlemousling![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 ![]() ![]() | Fish can get around surprisingly well with only one eye or even with both gone - BUT it's a very strong indicator that he doesn't belong in a tank with those aggressive convicts, as they'll just keep attacking him until he's blind, then keep him from having access to food, they could conceivably get at his sensitive belly, etc. I don't know aobut you, but I wouldn't want to be trapped in a tank with the guys who tore out my eye! -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
