I believe it's a catfish anyway. My fish are second hand from my boyfriend's mom and I can't find a picture that looks like Mr. Smith... Here's my problem though, last night I found a white spot on Mr. Smith's fin. It looks too large to be ich. Is there anything else it could be? I have never seen it before. Should I treat it for ich just in case??

That brings up a ton of questions such as: How do I treat for ich? And, I don't have a hospital tank because I'm, well, broke. Is it okay to treat the whole tank? All that's in there with him are 2 black mollies and a loach.
