	color change betta
jefferysgirl Hobbyist Posts: 124 Kudos: 91 Registered: 22-Jun-2004	has anyone ever bought a betta from a store and have it change colors in a few days. I got a beautiful white betta from a local pet store. I got him home and fed him the same food as my others and he turned pink. It is kinda gross because the pink is from his bloodvessels. you can see everyone of them. Is this a normal thing?

It could be stress, it could be lighting, it could be as simple as a change of diet. I have noticed that Bad Boy, now shows 3 different colors pending on all sorts of things. (torquoise, red, purple). Try and take some pictures of him and post them under Advanced Betta Care. I don't believe he is sick, but maybe someone there can explain it...
