Coughing is a weird description. If it does it when eating, he could be trying to get the food down, rainbows have huge mouths, but tiny throats, hard to get big peices of food down. Since it is one tablet for 10 gal (i think), you'll need some more. You could also reduce the water level a bit so you don't have to use so much medication. Good luck! I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!
