One my aulonocaras has suffered eye injury

The cornea(outter part) of the eye is the part affected. It looks like it got small rip or tear and appears stretched. The cornea is cloudy and looks partially separated from the lens. I suspect either another fish bite or less likely an injury from contact from decor.

The eye is not bulging and popeye does not seem to a problem at this time.

This is just recent with in 3-4 hours.

The question is should I move fish to hospital tank and start an anti-bacteria or other treatment in case of future problems or should I let it play out? I would prefer not to net the fish and possible cause more injury to the eye from the net. The fish is acting normal with no ill side effects. I would like to aviod the stress of net and moving to hospital, unless there is going a major problem with infection and immediate treatment will prevent this. So I ask this to aviod unnesscary medication.

ammonia 0,nitrite 0,nitrate 25 and 75 gal.

The fish is not being harassed. Activity level is normal and is showing no signs of hiding and etc. I have feed them to observe the injuried fish and he is acting normal.

Great time for Melafix and Pimafix. ANYTIME anyone is injured, dose at least one or the other and if it is severe, I'd do both. They are compatible and compliment one another. I would also add just a small amount of freshwater aquarium salt - like 1 teaspoon/5 gallons. But, predissolve it and add it over several hours or a day if you have scaleless fish. They'll tolerate it if it is added slowly. The salt will help with any electrolyte losses through a wound and will help sooth it.

If you have only one, dose that for now, but I'd really do both since it involves and eye.
