	heater burn
Johnny the Oranda Enthusiast Posts: 237 Kudos: 237 Votes: 82 Registered: 01-Mar-2005	Is it possible for your fish to get burned? My texas now has a black nose with what looks like a blister on it, and i see him pecking at the heater and hanging around it alot.

Its a sort of black plastic mesh sleeve, and should protect your heater as well as your fishes nose! There was a post very recently with a photo of a heater guard. Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
