Just wondering was your electric yellows head pointed toward the bottom of the tank while the spinning was going on? If so it most likely seems to be swim bladder disase which most of the time unfortunately is fatal to the fish.

Peas are fiber.
Too much protein can often create blockage. Constipation can sometimes press against the swim bladder causing difficulty in a fishs ability to swim properly. Peas just get things moving again.

hi obi I'm very glad to hear that your fish is looking well again.

But if you want to keep your fish healthy I think it's very important for you to find out what the 'nitrogen cycle' is, and to be able to test your water for Ammonia and nitrIte (in particular) and also NitrAte.

As a quick summary, the nitrogen cycle is where bacteria change the ammonia from fish waste into nitrIte, then other bacteria turn it into nitrate. This process is important because ammonia is extremely toxic to your fish and nitrite is also toxic.

For more information please read this article on the nitrogen cycle. Don't worry if it's confusing at first - it will become clear after you've asked more questions and become familiar with the results for your tank.

It's really important for you to find out the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels for your tank. Since you don't have test kits, you can probably take a sample of your tank water to your local fish store and ask them to measure the levels for you (some stores will do this for free). Ask them to give you the actual readings, not just tell you that the levels are 'ok' or 'normal' or whatever. Then bring the results back here and hopefully we'll be able to help you work out what's going wrong in your tank.
