i found a frog that had its leg caught underwater, it looked like it has been there for some time, it is quite thin, has no slime coat, and is nearly unresponsive when u touch its back legs, i think they may be broken it has trouble flipping back over if it falls on its back, i will start feeding it some pellets, but im not sure how to go about this, i will look for some crickets in the basement to see if it will eat those, please any advise will help, oh, and i have him/her in a heated 10 gallon with land.

well, his legs arnt broken, they just look a bit sore, probably from fighting that nasty rock i dont have his new home up and running yet, but he has POOPY!!!!!

now, i bet your wondering "....wow, he took a crap"

but its green which means he ate the pellets so, he is on the mend

but i have an idea thanx to the link of how i am going to set up his home as, first, it going to have white pea gravel, then when i can collect it, i am getting black slate gravel/sand and im gunna put in some plants, ect, but i cant get the tank i realy wanted and it was a 20 long because all of a sudden, my neibore said i couldent have it yea the tank has been there for years, and its now going to sit there for a few more years]

i have never owned or raised bullfrogs but i have caught a lot at my grandpas house by the missippi in iowa, any way from what i can tell they like land but they like water deep enough so they can just float there and dangle their body in the water. and they might enjoy heavy planting, that whole camoflauge thing where you can see them but they think you cant. they were always fun to chase around the yard.

you might not find this helpful but, ahhh to relive the past.

Fishy! I'm so glad he doesn't have broken legs! I remember you talking about him in chat. So glad mr froggy is okay... hope he makes a speedy recovery! I know nothing about amphibians, so I'll just hope he gets better.

well, i made up his temp home last night, and when i was examining him, he has a nasty bobo under the leg i presumed was hurting, is realy raw, nasty scrape it looks so painfull, so, i have to hurry and get that sand, because the gravel is so ruff, and he enjoys sitting on land, so i took a small wire mesh backet, and he now enjoys sitting on that, but he did loose quite a bit of color when i had him in the 1 gall critter keeper, im guessing because he was so super saturated with water..poor guy and he has trouble getting on land too, he goes to crawl up the gravel, and it all slips and falls down, so i put up some slate for him, i forgot to check on him this morn (got up quite late) but im hopeing that he will turn out great, and he has only started trying to jump a little, but he still cant, well, i will keep u updated
