Actually yes we do need some more information...

What are your water parameters? Actual numbers are best, not just good or excellent...if you don't know, and don't have a test kit at home, take a sample of your water to your lfs and have them test it (in front of you is best) and write down the parameters...Ammonia? Nitrites? Nitrates? pH? are the biggies...

What size of tank is he in? how big is he? how long have you had him? how often do you do water changes?

get back with this information and let's see what we can do to help you and the fishie out

Oh and if you can get a picture that would help tons as well...heidi

here's the water paramiters:
*Amonia=0.0ppm
*Nitrite=0.0ppm
*Nitrate=20ppm(aprox!)
*pH=7.2
and i feed 'em a variety of live frozen and dried food and the tank is 80litres or 20gal and the fish himself is about 10cm or 4" in length the tank is well planted and the filtration unit filters 380litres/hour or 100 gallon/hour and the behavier has worsened sinc i last posted he's vry figety and flick his fins very rapidly if startled
