i can belive what happened to my betta he got into a fight with my other betta and now he has a big hold in his side it wasnt that bad at first so i treated him with quick cure and i tought it started to help but he got worse the next day

he is still alive but not bye much im hoping that he will get better but right now im not expecting him to ill keep u posted on his heath.
his breathing is a quick breath than he stops for a few seconds it was fast for a long time he acked like he was gasping for air but his breathing has slown down to almost no breathing (crying while typing) :#( i cant tell u how much it hurts to see such a fun happy fish go through such a hard time. i think most of u know what im talking about.

Male Betta's will fight if kept together.

I am really sorry your fish is suffering, hon, I know exactly what you mean, Blue my female just died from dropsey, it is nasty when you don't know what to do for the best.

I know it is probably too late but you could try melafix? and really clean water.

and i know that males fight when they are together my male betta jumped into my other male bettas sction of the tank

the hole was realy bad, but there wasnt too much u could have done it wasnt infected at all (on the outside), but i think maybe blood loss, or just the stress, i was also thinking that it would have been quite some time before he could have eaten, and he may have starved eventualy


(oh and for everyones information she has 3 male bettas in a divided 10 gallon, the dividers r realy good, but i htink she should lower the water level next time)
