Stop dosing salt and do a 35% water change...

Sorry for the brief reply. I was called away...

Although Columbians are considered "brackish" they can live in fresh water for a time.

They prefer and do well in water of about 80-82 degrees. If the water is too cold, their immune system starts to fail, perhaps what is happening to your Sharks.

It's true they are naturally brackish but because hobbyists get carried away with salt dosing the fish begins to react.

What I usually do is slowly dilute the water with new same temp and pH water and observe for improvement. There's a good chance the salt has built up in such a small tank.

Columbian Shark lovers, those who know the fish, will always refer to the trop as liking "a little salt" in the water.
