swiftshark88   Enthusiast Posts: 205 Kudos: 143 Votes: 61 Registered: 17-Apr-2005   | one of my older angles appears on the brink of death, i woke up this morning an noticed it was in the bottom corner of the tank. it is gasping for air, its backbone is stiff and curverd, on the left side the scales seem pale, it has a cut or a red sore above its left eye. i dont know what is wrong, but i dont think its going to make it :'-(. does anyone know what is wrong? I think u should dose the tank with melafix for now, until we know further on the situation with your tank. Gee Gee !!I think I just learned somthing new!! |

| swiftshark88 Enthusiast Posts: 205 Kudos: 143 Votes: 61 Registered: 17-Apr-2005 | its a 55 gal, with 2 angles a plec, 2 clown loaches, and 9 red velvet swords, and one pearl gourami. the angles have always been the dominant fish in the tank, and the other seems to be perfectly healthy. everything seems to be normal, ph, nitrate, ammonia..... | swiftshark88 Enthusiast Posts: 205 Kudos: 143 Votes: 61 Registered: 17-Apr-2005 | my ph is 7.0-7.2 annonia is 0 nitrite is 0 i cant test for nitrate, i dont have any chemicals left. the angles were always peaceful, a little chasing here and there, nothing serious, no nipping or anything of the sort 99% of the time they were always peacful.
