Tanya81![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fish Addict Posts: 633 Kudos: 419 Votes: 37 Registered: 27-Jun-2003 ![]() ![]() | I have come back after about 4 days of being away. my paradis fish had a laceration on his side..so i moved him from the cichlid tank to a community tank.. melafixed.. so the wound would heal...now i come back.. and the wound has developed into an ulcer...almost like a hole! and he is barely alive. swimming up to get air here n there.. and his scales are slightly protruded.. and he seems slightly bloated around the rib area. What is wrong what will treat that i can buy at wal mart? 72 gallon bowfront:Tanganyikan Lake set up 75 gallon: A. I usually tell hobbyists to destroy the fish but if you want to try you'll have to dose Gentamycin or Erythromycin along with the Melafix. Don't waste any time in treating. --garyroland. |
