I was referred this med by another member of FP with excellent results, cured it in 5 days!!!! It's called Maracide by Mardel. Any LPS should carry it.

Rid-Ich and other Malachite Green/Formalin mixes are quite powerful at eradicating ich. BUT, be careful. Formalin is carcinogenic for one (though cancer is VERY rare among fish). Two, these medications are dangerous to Electric Knifefish, Mormyrids, and I'll bet they can harm Gymnarchids and cartilaginous fish. In fact, that's how I lost my Black Ghost Knife; Rid-Ich does not warn against using it specifically against the Electric Knifefish, only Mormyrids. The Ich was cured, but the fish died shortly after the treatment with heavy skin slime; I don't believe this to be weakness brought on by having just recovered from ich. Anyway, I have found these medications to be successful in curing ich in scaleless fish such as catfish quite fine without harm, so if you don't have any of the above listed fish than these will do the job.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian.
