hi anyone been having trouble with water as posted before. Done third water change tonite will get tested on sunday, just watching my fish now with mag glass and noticed black phantoms and neons have white spot but none of the other fish why not all infected and what is best cure thanks anji

it might be ich, but i am not an expert. try posting this in the hospitol, buut for the ich problem i would go to the lfs and get some ich meds and add to the tank.

thanks just put some in but not sure if its the best one as dont want to start losing more fish again as thought i got rid of this problem the one ive been using is king british

Is it possible to post pics? Is it a spot that looks like salt granules or more of a patch type spot?

not prem member so cant do pics they are tiny white spots over most of the body but only on black phantoms, some neons and a pakistani loach all rest of fish seem ok

well...it could be white spot alrite...others r not infected yet coz their immune system still resisting it..but not for long...u should treat the tank coz the problem is already in there...go get an ich treatment that has malachite green and formaldehyde. malachite green can be harmful for scaleless fish if its strong. there r lots of treatment available for u...check ur lfs and ask them..but the final discision is urs. gud luck

Salt-looking spots are most likely ich.

You mentioned a third water change. One thing to be very careful of is matching the water you replace in the tank to that already in the tank. I learned the hard way.
