Hi there out of interest has do you worm a fish. And if you can what are the products you can buy?

As usual I will go way out on a limb. Raw carrots are good for humans (old granies cure) pulp some raw carrot and put a very small amount in the tank. Also some cooked green peas is also good for their gut system.

At a guess I would say there are several products on the market but you would have to know which worm the fish has.

I've heard praziquantel is good de-wormer for fish.
It's sold under another name for dogs... Droncit, I think. Most vets carry it. There are products called prazi-pro and prazi-pond that are made specifically for fish.

Cheers have found out that droncit is called Drontal in the uk and is what I have just used to worm my cats and dogs. I had a spare cat tablet somewhere but as I cannot find it looks that I may have to do another on line purchase.
