Most mice given to pet stores will become feeders.

EDIT: Also those mice are far too young to be taken away from their mothers. They need at least another week.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Because your attached or are you against feeding reptiles mice?

Besides, many herp owners would rather pay shipping for fifty frozen mice than 12 live mice(which can injure a reptile if not prekilled)

I'll do graffiti,

im not TOTALY against feeding live mice to reptiles, its just i dont want THESE mice becoming feeders, and i know they need more time, their eyes arnt open yet, i have about a week to reserve them (should have stated that) but i may keep the mother with me while she takes atleast 4, she wants to keep 2, and her friend wants 2, bu im going to pay her later on, so i can have first pick, then if i decide not to keep either one of them, because someone else wanted them more.... im going to give them time so i can reserve as many as i can afford, (only 16 w/ no job) and i will sell the others to get my money back, so if this happens again (if she "accidently" gets a male and female baby)

At least reptiles tend to kill their prey fairly quickly, and often the mouse never knows what hits it, but I saw a video of someone feeding live mice to pirahna once, and ive rarely seen such suffering. The poor little blighter swam about 8 terrified lengths before a fish whipped his leg off, it clearly died of blood loss and suffered a great deal of pain and terror . the fish didnt finish it until it had stopped moving. Presumably some idiot videotaped it because he thought it was cool.

That sort of person makes me want to hold their head underwater in the same tank.

Ive fed mice to snakes and big lizards before, but theyre always prekilled, frozen, or going to an animal that has to feed live but kills immediately.Where theres no need, I simply dont use them.
