I have one right now. A 24 year old pure bred, registered Arabian. I don't do much with him now, mostly trail ride when he feels good and some level 1 and 2 dressage work. I'm saving some cash for another Arab that I can do endurance riding and dressage with. *sigh* Some day I'll ride the Tevis cup. http://www.foothill.net/tevis/]http://www.foothill.net/tevis/[/link] And I can only hope to be like Julie Suhr . Geez dave, um, ew?

I have one pony (well, horse) and am just starting to get back into the swing of things. I'm borrowing a few that need work and am working up to some low grade dressage and hacking.

I have spent the last 3 weeks looking for a new saddle as my current one is highly uncomfy for me (i must have an odd shaped bum!) and now, 3 have fallen in my lap and i still haven't sold my old one so I cant buy any

I am also planning out an eventing course for our back paddock, complete with flags (well, spraypainted horseshoes) and a waterjump there is only so much flatwork a girl can take!

So Fairy, piccies please!

here are mine

He doesn't look half bad for 25 IMO! Stuck being a paddockbasher now though, no more shows, no more endurance rides.

I have been offered a supple young ex-racer to work up on lease, so he shall be my next showpony And there is a 3yo TB out there who is just dying to do some PC and trailriding before he hits the ring, so i might just snaffle him too

I own four....three thououghbreds(spelling??) and a "mutt" pony...hah.
Does anyone else have any? And what do you do with them...jumping, eventing, dressage, roaping...etc. I've just started to do some jumping with my Chestnut Throuighbred, Stowie (or, Stowic sherlock...])

I know what you mean about the carrot-bearing valet

I have three currently a 27 old arabian mare who current lives with my mom and does mostly trail now, a 8 year old thoroughbred off the track who seems to still think hes a race horse, and a little appyX pony who is cute as heck but is really grean under saddle. They seem to be costing me a lot of money in vet bills with a severe lacteration, a colic/tie-up, and last week a wonderful casting against the fence. The two with me are here at the UCDavis equestrian center (where i also work-teaching lessons/summer camp).
In the past i have barrel raced and done poles. I have also jumped and am looking forward to starting my pony and TB over fences this summer. Since I work for the equestrian center i have the opportunity to ride lots of different horses (mostly the crazy ones or rehab cases).

I know the snotty horse people all too well. around here its mostly the highschool girls that think that they are hot stuff (which surprisingly the horses they ride both have leg injuries from being jumped too high and rode too hard).

Majestic TB gelding
Honor Arab mare
Jewel AppyX mare And yes pony is doing her wonderful ]:| cribbing.
