The last time that happened was like four years ago, and the time before that was in 1976. It's not really sticking though, because temperature is in the high 30s. Hopefully some will stick tonight though when the temperature drops below freezing. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

It's all the more exciting when it doesn't happen often! The thing about Portland is that when it's cold enough for snow, they usually get ice storms too. Then the whole city shuts down. Pretty cool (for a day or two). I grew up in Idaho and moved back here last summer. There's not as much snow here as I remember from my childhood. Global warming maybe...
