Example:

“I am bored at work today”

Translates to German as

“Ich werde an der Arbeit gebohrt“

Which means as much as

I am getting drilled (with a drill bit) at work

"I am very bored" in italian is "Molto sono annoiato", which, translated back into english is...

"A lot is bored"





Babel Fish doesn't translate very good

was "Hello my name is bob." translated from english to dutch & back

"loodje" apparently means "fishing sinker" or something similar

"loodje" is a small round piece of lead with a cut through the middle. You squeeze it shut on your fishing line to keep the sinker at the proper level in the water (and your bait down below).

since it was brought back from the dead a month ago, does this mean i'm bringing it only out of a coma now?

Anyways I have to say I've been using this, this year makes things a lot simpler on my brain to translate stuffes for the Beginning ESL students as well as notes home

So here I go again:%)I've got a wonderful curriculum for working with the students and getting to know them one on one...the videos they are to watch are in Spanishthis means I get my own set and don't have to sharenow why wouldn't they send the worksheets/discussion sheets in Spanish

Gotta go translate themoh well:%)
