What's it like? What are some neat/fun things to do? How's the weather, lol? Heh, whatever, just thought I post somethin'.... -fishnewb!~

I have never been to Calgary but I know a few people from there and they all say it's great (as long as you don't go in winter )

fishnewbie Big Fish Posts: 349 Kudos: 619 Votes: 319 Registered: 01-Apr-2004	I just got back last night. I wasnt too impressed with the city itself, but the surrounding area was awesome. (Especially Banff!)The zoo was HUGE and very nice... I also saw the parade and went to the Calgary Stampede friday which was pretty cool. Saw the rodeo and chuckwagon races + show. I also visited Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon. Very pretty, but a bit too commercialized, IMO. You should definately go to Alberta if you ever get the chance! Banff is so nice but like you said it has been taken over..... I wish I coulda seen this I could have told you tons of places to go!!!! Angel Eel PS thanks for saying Alberta is cool!!!
