I hate to affend anyone , but what do you see in soccer ?

Its the boringest sport, if you can call it that, next to golf .

At least american football is a sport for men and so is rugby, which is your football.

Liverpool!

Supposedly the Juve Ultras (Juve Hooligans in other words) are gonna trash the game and get Liverpool fans because of the Heysel Disastor

Another Juventus supporter here. The match with Real was great, but we still have a long way to go. With Nedved we'll be better, but who knows.

1985-2005. 20 years from the Heysel Disaster.

The Milan-Inter match will be very close, as it was 2 years ago.

Solo Noi, Solo Noi........ Forza Juve e Basta.

I'm a huge Juve fan and i'm pretty excited about the match against liverpool. It should be a very good match. I don't know if it'll be as good as the juventus vs real madrid match though That was a thriller.

I think Juve will be too strong with Nedved returning. But it'll still be close. We'll just have to see who is the better team on the day.
Go Juventus

I dunno if any of u guys kenw wat happened in 1981 when Liverpool played Juve in Turin.
Liverpool were then huge underdogs but went on to win the match 4-1.

I guess if that happens again we can safely say that Liverpool are the most underestimated team in Europe.

Still, i would be the happiest man on Earth if Liverpool were to gain a draw.

And the bottom line is :

Allez les Rouges!!!!

As usuall inter supporters throw things on the pitch. Usually they throw oranges, this time Flares & water bottles. Once they've thrown a motorbike down the stands & then put it on fire. I think that they should be banned from European football.

Did anyone else see the milan - inter second leg match.
I was suprised when inter fans starting throwing bottles and flares and a flare hit Dida on the shoulder.
That match ended milan 1-0, 3-0 aggregate.

In the Chelsea - Bayern M. second leg match Bayern won 3-2.
But chelsea won 6-5 on aggregate.

Head-to-head

After last week's meeting at Anfield, Juventus and Liverpool have played each other in four knock out European matches.
Their first match-up was in 1965/1966 when Liverpool eliminated Juventus (2-1 on agg.) in the first round of the Cup Winners' Cup.
Their only other meeting was the infamous Champions Cup final on 29 May 1985 in the Heysel-stadium of Brussels. Juventus won that match 1-0 with a Michel Platini penalty.
Those figures exclude the 1985 Super Cup in Turin, when Juventus beat Liverpool 2-0.
Juve and Liverpool have never drawn with each other in European matches.
As their Champions Cup final of 1985 was played on neutral ground, Juventus have played only one European home match against Liverpool. That was played on 29 September 1965 which Juve won 1-0.

Striker Djibril Cisse is in Liverpool's squad - the first time since breaking his leg in October - for the Champions League match against Juventus.
But Steven Gerrard has been ruled out because of a groin injury.

Midfielder Xabi Alonso is expected to fill in for the Liverpool captain in his first game since 1 January.

Juventus striker David Trezeguet has failed to shake off an ankle injury and will not play but Brazilian midfielder Emerson is fit and available.

Alessio Tacchinardi is suspended and French right-back Jonathan Zebina has a thigh injury and should be replaced by Gianluca Pessotto.

Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will take Trezeguet's place in attack alongside Alessandro del Piero.

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez will ponder two massive gambles with Cisse and Alonso.

Cisse was expected to miss the whole of the season after breaking his leg against Blackburn last year.

However, Benitez has recalled the France forward even though he has not kicked a ball for six months.

Benitez said: "Cisse will not start the match but maybe we will use him in the last 20 minutes or so if we need something different and he is quick and can score goals.

"He has been saying for a couple of weeks that he is ready but we have wanted to be careful and make sure he is okay."

Benitez must also decide whether Alonso is ready to return, despite playing only 45 minutes for the reserves since breaking his ankle against Chelsea.

Juventus coach Fabio Capello:
"Liverpool are an excellent squad that defends with a great deal of attention. They are a really good and strong team.
"Unfortunately, we are a bit short on height at the moment and they are really dangerous on free-kicks."

More news,
Trezeguet has been ruled out of the match.
And liverpool have named Cisse in the squad, so chances are he will start on the bench.

I think Liverpool will make it through this time and hopefully go all the way to winning it.

It will most probably be a tight game in Turin.

As for the other legs Chelsea and Milan Ac are almost surely through.

And once again FORZA LIVERPOOL.

4 very balanced quarter finals. I think that Chelsea & Milan will go through, but for the other 2 teams, it's still wide open.

Milan & Chelsea are the favourites for the 25th May final in Istanbul.

hehe, you wish perky.

Still underestimating juve at home.

But what does everyone else think the results in the second leg will be.
Heres what i think
Juventus 1-0 Liverpool (liverpool will be getting players back, but juve will not be easy to beat. As they showed against Real madrid.)
PSV 1-3 Lyon (PSV are lucky with the first leg results. Think Lyon will be too strong)
Inter 2-2 Milan (inter should have Adriano back, aswell as vieri being fit, as he didn't start last match.)
Bayern 2-2 Chelsea (Bayern should have Makaay and Pizzaro back)

to be honest, even though liverpool surprised me with that performance, i thinkk Juve having an away goal is going to make it prety hard for liverpool to go through.

Liverpool won PJ, don`t make any excuses

Liverpool had Juve all over the place in the first half! It was only Liverpool Reserve squad as well! Didn`t even have a experenced goalkeeper who would have saved that header by Cannavaro making it 2-0. I know Del Piero scored that header which was disallowed but shouldn`t have been but I think carson could have saved that if it had not been called for offside, as soon as the whistle went Carson was relaxing and din`t try to save it but if the whistle hadn`t gone he would have back tracked a bit and tipped it over the bar or something

Next leg will be a breeze for Liverpool and there will be liverpool in the final

Yea, good match. Liverpool played great in the first half. Juventus played great in the scond half. The match should of ended 2-2 though, as Del Pieros goal should of been allowed.
Can't wait till the next leg.
