indeed, but the new cars aren't based on the 80's cars, which, by the way were ugly.

ok, maybe for like two years they looked similar but then they both got ugly during the 70's. in the 80's the mustang got all fat and the camaro started looking like a vette wannabe.[/font]

[link=Here she is]http://www.camaroz28.com/index.shtml" style="COLOR: #FFFF00[/link]

First off, i'm glad a car will *hopefully* carry the Camaro badge again, it's high time. Second, i'm not a fan of all these damned 'retro' cars people are building (IE The Goat, Challenger, Charger, Imperial, etc etc), but this one isn't TOO bad. The taillights i think are horrible, they need not be tucked under the deck, and it could use a little bit more spoiler. The hood itself is awesome, but i'm with others that the grill should be brought out towards the front a bit The wheels are insane and better not make it to production (front is 21", rears are 22"

Interior? No comment.

So what do y'alls think? 400hp LS2 tucked under that hood mated to the tried and true T-56, should make for a nice ride, as long as they put it on a diet

well, if it's supposed to be retro they $!@#%ed up. the mustang and camaro looked nothing alike back then, they shouldn't look alike now. and the camaro would still have its own heritage if chevy hadn't stopped making them....

yea mOOndaWg, they kinda do, but these are all supposed to be retro cars and they all looked the same in the 60's. They can't be retro without looking the same again, unfortunately.

The challenger kinda looks cool tho, but i still don't like how the companies are ruining heritage by trying to revive all these nameplates. The impala used to be badass, now it's (mostly) a FWD V6. *shrug* Whaddayagonna do though?

Yea, the GTO had the LS1 for the first year, but at almost 3900lbs it was tough to smoke more than your 90 year old neighbor in her hoverround without putting the deuce in her. How'd you like the IRS?

Looks like a mustang and a charger spent the night at a cheap hotel and came up with the camaro. ] Anyways, I test drove GTO a few months back and loved it. It had the LS2 under the hood.

I agree with you on the tail lights, looks to much like a Corvette, the wheels are way too big (makes it look very odd from the side). I'm not too sure of the interior, I guess I'd have to see it in person.
