After we discovered that the mother board had faulty bits. It was replaced but still some old problems have resurfaced, it is possible that the hard drive could also be a problem.
Tomorrow Mon upgrading HD to 120 or 250 Gb also an exhaust fan will be added (I have three there already) heat might have been the cause of the faulty MB and lead to the posibly faulty HD.

While it is at the technicans it will be getting a well deserved refit.

This means I could be absent while all this is being done. I never hurry this person as I have found out this is the best method.

When it comes back I will have a lot of reinstalling to do. I have been very busy today making back ups on the new DVD burner.

Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.

depending on the problem you was having, it could have had issues with the motherboard, then also possible problems within the RAM and also the harddisk.. then theres also any other cards, ie video, or sound cards that was installed.

From what keith has told me, i think it was mainly heat and voltate fluctuations. He did say he had fried a UPS as he's on the end of the power circuit, and it's always going awry on him. Resulted in some bulging caps... electronics don't like heat or voltage fluctuations.
