Don;t know the model number will check when I get home.

As for recording onto a dual layer. Nope. I am not game to waste a disc to find out. I guess I am going to look into maybe some dual layer DVD-RAM discs.

I have been told that these are a lot better and will last alot longer then DVD-RW discs. As well as being double the size!
