i realy dont care

if they dont like me, well so be it, the feelings mutual

well, i dont care if people know i get down and dirty in barns,i once cleaned up a dog pen, in white pants i got it done in the pouring rain too, see, i dont care, if something needs doing it gets done *nods sagingly*

I'm an in between.

I do care what other people think of me, but only to some extent...

I'll post on this later.

EDIT:

I do what I want to do because I like doing it. If I like something, I'm not going to let others change my mind b/c they dont like it, in fact that just makes me want to stay the way I am even more.

But I dont like when people get the wrong impression of me, and think I'm something that I'm not.

So I guess it goes two ways.

Don't really care at all. I learned a long time ago that some folks just aren't going to like me no matter what I do or who I am and in the big scheme of things it just isn't important.

I take care of my family (which is really whats important). Not concerned with what society thinks. I'm probably one of the most politically INCORRECT individuals you would ever want to meet.

Same with me, but I do that for myself not because I'm concerned about what other people think. As far as fashion & such, no I do my own thing and definitely don't care what others think.

I don't really care what people think about me. Generally I am just a nice person who talks to everybody and is willing to help anyone. My family constantly tells me that I can not save the world. I don't do anything for the thank you's or the way it makes me seem to other people though. I do it because it is who I am. As far as looks go, if you do not like what I look like, don't look! I have a lot of tattoos, but dress in an entirely different way. I get a lot of rude reactions to my tattoos because there are a lot of stereotypes about girls in particular who have too many of them, but it does not phase me. I have come to accept that there are a lot of judgemental and ignorant people in this world, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. No matter how you dress or what you look like, there is always going to be someone who does not like it... you can never please anyone. I am comfortable with who I am.

IME, a lot of young people, at least, who claim to have absolutely not a care for what others think of them ... are entirely focused on what others think of them. All to often they're trying to make it look (to others) as though they don't care what anyone thinks. "Hey, look at me! I don't care! Ha! Why aren't you looking?!"
Not a popular opinion, but there it is.
Do I care? Sure. I care that I look nice, and respectable, and fairly sane when I leave the house. I care whether I make a good first impression, and whether people find me friendly and helpful. I don't really see any of that as a flaw.

I'm a pretty non-social person. I just don't care. Look at my hobbies, interests, what I drive. It is all about what I am happy with. My kids are still school age and that kind of thing does matter. For them I let them have what they need to feel comfortable and socially accepted within reason. I am trying to raise them to be independent well -adjusted kids. Problem with being a parent is we just don't know how it will all work out till it is said and done.
