As to whether I believe in ghostsyes, had an encounter with themyes...

Suffice it to say I wasn't a believer, used to make fun of this "supposed" ghost then when I encountered her, well I believe she exists and there is no amount of money that I can be given to go down 1776 through Cayanosa in the dead of night, or any other time that it is dark for that matter, I'll drive an extra hour to avoid it...

i dont remember if i had any human spirits visit me, but there is a small dark animal spirit im the house (it freaks me just typing about it)

we were living in this house, for just under a year, i was lyin on my floor drawing a picture of a large horse, when i looked up, i saw a cat sized blur rush out in front of me and go behind my desk (it was kiddy cornered) there was a wire hanging down, and when it rushed by it, it was swaying and it went into the wall i just layed there trembling, too scaired to move, then i ran down stairs and told my mom, but she said, i must have been tired

i have also sen it 2 times in the past 2 years, but just as a blur, i later found out that the people that used to live here had a small black cat, that was hit by a car too....oh, and my old cat sam, some times i can feel him walking along the side of my bed, and lying next to me, im not sure why, but i know its him i think its because i was the only one to cry for him, and i worked on a grave stone for him, and everything, our other cat olver was hit by a car, but i think he completed his journy, because his spirit isnt here..atleast, i havent felt him here

I had to force myself to not think of ghosts during our night dive this past weekend. Nothing quite like being under 23' of semi chilly water in pitch black with a few dive lights going and ahead of you is a bus that's been under water for a few years. All you can do is tell yourself "ghosts dont exist" ....and really hope someone doesnt decide to prove you wrong !!!!!
I'd rather have my ghostly encounters on dry land for now thank you very much !

I shall suffice it to say that when one has numerous Wiccan friends, you can see some very weird stuff. And since we're not allowed to discuss religion, I'll stop my explanation there.

Of course, it could just be because I tend to go on midnight walks with said friends... you see a lot of weird stuff at that time of night. And you get pulled over by police (well, they pull over to ask what you're doing ) just because you're walking at night... as if that's a crime. Not my fault we tend to wear black and such...

Honestly, the grudge was silly. The most scary movie I have seen is definitely the Ring, and equally scary is "Dark Water" I have seen it in Japanese, or Chinese or watever language it was originally made in. Still to see the English version tho.

The first time I heard tat story was from my husband in the wee hours of the morning, with the lights out totally. He was telling me a bed time story

Now tat's a bed time story u shldnt be telling ur wifey/child.

I dont kno about ghosts, but I dont dismiss the theory tat there may be paranormal forces out there. My grandmother used to tell me of a ghost she met when she was young, and pregnant with her third child. She was going to the well to fill water (we didnt have taps in those days in India) and she met a ghost at the well

She says, she was so freaked, tat the next day she went into labour, and the child (my aunt) was stuck with the umbilical chord around her neck. Because deliveries used to happen at home those days with a mid-wife assisting, there was very little they could do. The labour was long, and painful, and finally, my aunt was born, with the chord around her neck but alive and healthy.

Gramma was undecided about whether it was a good ghost or a bad one. Sometimes she used to tell me, he was there to help her

I am a stricly scientific fellow, but that doesn't stop me from having the excretion scared out of me after watching the grudge, which, btw, was damn scary, despite what I've heard.

Well, I have my own experiences and yes I do believe in them. I saw that Opiate posted earlier about that ghost story forum from where I come from. Not too sure what is the moderators' stand on such sites since it was removed. Well, I like to see things from a scientific view point and this group basically investigates and uses science debunk some of the stories where they can. At least it provides another view of the paranormal besides the scary and unexplained. They recently debunked an urban legend that many apartments were haunted because residents kept hearing marbles being rolled across the floor in the wee hours of the morning. Some people speculated that some children who left never really did. SPI did a recording of the sounds and managed to match them to the sound of water moving through the pipes in the building which caused the piping to vibrate and make a sound like marbles being rolled across the floor. I've come to the conclusion that my house is haunted! lol
I was home alone yesterday and i was on the computer when the tv decided to turn it's self on! i jumped up grabbed the remote and turned it off...then i went to turn it on and couldn't find the remote where i left it... then i thought i heard some1 call my name!

Twas wierd!!!

This has happend to all in my family and some of our friends who stayed over for the night.
The first time it happend to my brother,It was early in the morning..around 6 o'clock.He was getting ready to go to the school.He woke up that suddenly it was very cold in the room.And then he felt sombody sitting next to him..he could clearly feel somebody holding him down..he tried to scream or move but he couldn't do anything.few minutes later our father came down to wake up my brother and he too could feel the cold..and as soon as he came into my brothers room...it was like someone past by him with a car in 80mph..he cuold feel the cold air pass by him and out of the room.My brother said what happend and he thought our father would say that he was lying..but he also tolled us a story that happend to him too and the rest of us.But a few months later nothing happend at all..thanks god.The other story i promised my mother not to tell anyone..so i will not.
