"14th-inning blast by Sox sub wins longest game in World Series history"!

I think I'd be sleeping my way through work if I HAD stayed up... (Of course, the lady I work under is a HUGE Sox fan, so I might have been excused. )As it was, I turned off the TV after the ninth inning and started making my way to bed.

The Daily Herald thinks it's funny... the headline screaming across the front page (the sports section had a special full-page shot of Blum taking his home-run trot around the plates) says, "Late Blum-er" ... the picture caption reads, "Geoff Blum crosses the plate in the 14th inning after hitting his game-winning home run. The Sox ended up winning 7-5."

I'm not a particularly big baseball fan, but hey... gotta support the hometeam!

Apologies to all those Texans who were throwing me in Bayou's tank in chat for daring to root for the Sox... Poor Astros.

...does this mean I get to throw THEM in a tank?
