Today we are reading 62F in what, so far, has been the hottest July on record in Colorado. I'm glad we have a home in the mountains. It's a welcome relief of 75 degrees at 10,000 feet. And forget about walking to work, my clothes are drenched ins weat by the time I get into the office. Blegh. 100 degrees after sunset is just as bad as 85 at sunrise. When summer is like this it's the absolute worst. As soon as the thermostat breaks 80-85 I'm ready for fall. At least when it's really cold out you can put more layers of clothes on. When it's really hot there's nothing you can do - there are only so many layers of clothing a person is allowed to take off outside without being considered "indecent" according to that police man who tackled me before I could get my boxers all the way off...
