I'm glad someone remembered me....

Well I wasnt absent altogether just only checked in a few times a year to see profiles. It is nice to see some of the old dudes trotting around tho. Anyone know if folk like Rivinski, Little Cat Dude and Tammy are still here?

To fill in the gaps I was in Perth til end 2004 finishing my IT degree. I had a most excellent planted 40G setup with a colony of many coloured platies and some most excellent goldfish. Apparently they are still faring well

After I finished uni I moved to UK where I'm working as a software developer for a financial company. Ive been waiting ages to get another setup, 180L is all i have room for right now. But Im *very* happy with it (same as the link except in beech)

Haven't seen Rivinski for years

LittleCatJoe is still around, but not nearly as often as she used to be, i think she just pops her head in occasionally.

Tammy has a few health hassles and has cut back a lot, I don't see her as much as i'd like She isn't on much at all.

And yeah, thats me Joined the IBC and am breeding imports now Grown up a little since that first attempt at a tank

IBC = International Betta Community? btw I just checked ur website and yes u like bettas That's an impressive collection

yeah its funny to look back on the beginnings ur fish fascination! I remember when i used to be totally obsessed with aquariums...well I still am but it was a continual obsession!

Everything I bought, say a coffee, I used to calculate what fish i could buy. I used to spend lectures designing aquarium layouts on the back of my notes

I still remember my famous dream where my aquarium was moving itself round my student apartment trying to find the best place to be

community = congress. Its rather american more than international at the moment, and i still don't feel too comfortable jumping in lest I be shot down in flames, but maybe someday A lot more international groups joined this year, so i'm waiting to see what happens
