It'll be killed stone dead by past legal precedent. Most notably the one mentioned in the article itself, when Judge Clarence Thomas in 1995 upheld the right of a woman to send out political pamphlets anonymously. This latest law will be more or less flushed down the toilet the moment a case arises that invokes the First Amendment. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Oh, and that opinion isn't just mine. Ask most lawyers in the States what they thik, and chances are they'll tell you the same (but charge you a hefty fee for it!).

The 1995 case in which Thomas ruled was this one.

The First Amendment states that the government "shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press." U. S. Const., Amdt. 1.

This law is going to have a very short life expectancy.
