My nose is peeling.

First time this summer would you believe? I usually have a few decent goes at it and end up looking like Rudolph!

When this occurred, I was wearing a hat, but i'm beginning to think it was pretty useless. OK, so i'd forgotten my sunscren, but still, you'd think a hat would give a nose a bit more protection!

I'm thinking I might invest in a wide brimmed hat, like an Akubra. Its pretty much a rabbitskin cowboy hat. The other option is one of those white strawy ones the bronc riders wear, but I'm concerned I'll look a bit try-hard in one of those (even though they do look good on me)

So, what type of hat do you wear? does it give your nose any protection?

Thats the hat I was wearing, cute and full of pockets, useless for keeping noses unburnt

I had more options, but the nasty thing ate them and is now giving errors

I always wear a baseball Cap, but it doesn't cover my nose from the sunshine that we have.

I have a ton of hats... all different styles.. but if I am going to grab anything to be seen in public (in the summer) it is either a baseball style hat or a Visor.

In the winter... I have a Heavy baseball style cap with built in ear flaps that tie under my chin.

Ummm what's sunburn

Okay I'll admit it, I did get sunburned once, on my eyelids when I fell asleep at the lake for a few hours in the middle of the day.

Go with the one that gives the most protection, and just cause you're wearing a hat dont skip out on the sunscreen, and just cause you're slathered up in yucky messy stuff doesnt mean you should stay too much in the sun, sun exposure is the leading cause of wrinkles after all *checks mirror* .

10 mins in the Australian sun and if you fell asleep you prolly wouldn't be able to open your eyes for the swelling.

I wear a baseball cap but depending on the angle of the sun and the reflection you will still get burnt.

Very, harsh sun we have here.
