Hmmmmm.... good idea! Too bad I normally end up going when there's only girls working...

I'm not sure if I've ever done it with the intention of getting something, but I know I've done it just because the employee was attractive (how can people who are into fish NOT be attractive, if they are the right age and have everything in the right place?)

I've also had an employee follow me around the store, who preceded each answer to my questions with a really creepy smile.

It helps you get a good deal for sure.

And they get to know you more.

Also it doesn't help as then you always buy more so it probably works both ways. (eg/ go in to buy some food and walk out with a tank and new fish! Well I haven't acutally done this but nearlly!)

I don't even haggle anymore. Getting a Discus for $5 is a bargain already no need to waste time getting it down to $4.90. Anyway the guys need the money more then I do, he's probably saving for new teeth

I'm voting occasionally. I've gotten free plants and a free betta out of it. However, I don't do it all the time mostly because one of the really knowledgeable guys is old enough to be my father, or almost so.

I am going to abstain from responding to this because most LFS employees in India are uneducated/illiterate ordinary guys who usually cant get any other jobs because they are not smart enough.

But I have bargained, does that count? I also talk to them nicely.

Flirted with an LFS employee for special favours....

Like special discounts, free fish/plants/meds/equipment/food, special orders from suppliers like tropica, phone calls at home from the LFS owner (Jerry ) when a new shipment with something you're interested in comes in, fish you've been looking for put on hold, job offers, etc. etc.

Come on, admit it, I can't be the only one.
