Let's see, my hobbies are:

-Drawing, painting, artsy stuff and then I sell it on my online store.

-Riding and training horses. I don't ride my horse very often (he's old) but I have a few that I am polishing up for the barn owner before they are sold.

-Reading. Mostly science fiction and fantasy.

-Inline skating, usually, haven't had much time this year.

-Does school count? I graduated already, but I'm going back to take some interesting classes this fall. And I'm going to go back part time (in a year or two-saving pennies) for vet tech.

-And fish of course!! I have an aquatic green thumb. My house plants all die but my aquatic ones are awsome. My garden out side is doing well, but now that it's set in (planted everything last spring) I don't have to mess with it much.

A hobby is something you do for enjoyment.

I did a lot of reading the pre-fishkeeping days Nothing in particular, I'd just wander the library and see what looked interesting.

I like to walk, swim & lay out in the sun, watch movies (I don't watch much tv otherwise), experiment with my camera. Working late evenings/nights really messes with my time schedule. The spouse & I don't get much time together so I even consider snuggling on the couch together a hobby.

I really do a lot that's related to fishkeeping. I subscribe to a couple magazines I read end to end. Because of space limitations there are no new tanks in the future but I'm doing a lot of reasearch and learning about plants and aquascaping. Those are my big projects and take up a lot of my time. I very much enjoy it though

I guess I consider sleep a hobby or novelty...as I write this I've been up for ~17 hours, so if this doesn't make a lot of sense that's my excuse

Cooking. I can't concoct sweets, nor do I like them, so I'm a primarily savory man.
Movies.
Video games; PC or otherwise.
Anime (sadly).
Cartoons/Comics.
LUElinks.net and related nerdism.
Music as the audience; rock and classical. Jpop for a bit of guilty pleasure.
Music as the performer; mandolin and violin. I dabbled in a bit of piano, but I'm no good at it.
DIY stuff--I'm no good at tools, but as a guy, I am ilogically attracted to them. This coincides quite nicely with fishkeeping, as I put together much of my own aqua-hardware.
Tennis, golf, and football; in that order.
TV--notsomuch anymore, as junior year really threw me off track. Most of my TV time comprises of adult swim, food network, discovery, nat geo, fox, and KSWB.

mine changes every 6 months or so. i have recently been restoring several 80's pinball and arcade games, and have almost finished building an awesome mame arcade system (my 2 boys and the neighbor kids love me). note to any newbie pc gamer fanatics- browse all the mame sites you can find.

my die hard passion- collecting 16th to 18th century silver coins- has gotten impossible with the increased expense of raisng 2 kids on a single income.

I read lots of types of books! Lately I've been into the classics - currently reading East of Eden. Next up is The Red Tent. I'll also be rereading Harry Potter for the new release - I think. I enjoy mysteries, fiction, some sci-fi but it's rare.

I also forgot to say that cooking and baking are also hobbies of mine.

Quick checklist of hobbies other than the Panda Fun Palace™ :

Wildlife photography
Recreational computer programming
19th century art collecting (wish I had the money for the real thing like Andrew Lloyd Webber ...)
Cycling (and building bicycles)
Creative writing
Entomology
Creating artworks with Photoshop
Surreal and satirical comedy

Reading list includes:
Philosophy - everything from Socrates to Wittgenstein
Mathematics and the sciences (I studied mathematics at university)
Programming textbooks
Occasional novels that I find compelling, such as Sophie's World and The Parrot's Theorem
Entomological reference works
Obscure science fiction (e.g., James Blish)
Biographies of individuals that I find compelling e.g., Alan Turing
Art textbooks (private library includes biographies of Rossetti and Waterhouse)

Should be enough to be going on with ...

Besides the obvious, namely tank – fish – plants – forum, there is not much time left for a hobby.

I have 2 5-year old kids that need (or want) my attention when I am home in the evenings and weekends. They are not old enough to do things that I could really get into, but I sure do like to play with them (so that’s a hobby). I guess I can say that using the word “NO” has become a hobby, as I am saying it to them so often, like in “NO, don’t pinch your brother”, or “NO, don’t push your sister”, and “No, don’t jump right in front of my tank”.

I like to get a good night of sleep (8 hours) and because I am an early riser I go to bed early as well, sometimes I fall asleep before my kids.

I do a lot of stuff during the course of year, but all of it not to an extent that I would call it a hobby. And I guess that’s it (I will let you know if I remember anything else).

Ingo, 2-5 year olds? I think you should include trying to keep your sanity intact...Are they twins or just close in age? Sorry nosythere is only 1-5 year old here and trust me I know the meaning, as pugperson does as well, of them going nonstop...and talk about always being into things:%)But, heck we have to love them, right

OK that said, here are my hobbiesand I'm not including skinny dippingjust not me

resealing a 55 gallon and cussing it when it doesn't hold water more than a week.

Not counting work; fly fishing, fly tying, gardening of all types, but especially my vegetable garden - can't wait for those fresh vegies every year.
