I just got back from a 1500k round-trip to Newcastle for the weekend. I was supposed to go to this meeting to discuss a conference I'm organising, but when I heard it was going to go for 5 hours I told my friend, who is the conference director, that he could fill me in later, and took off to the beach. It was cold and windy, but we got a second chance yesterday, it was beautiful beach weather and we managed to stay there long enough to have a swim and get really sunburnt before we headed back to Brissy. In the end we spent about 15 hours allup at our destination, the rest was four days of driving at least 6 hours a day. As my friend said when we on our way home 'It's a heck of a long way just to go to the beach'. But I had fun.

I noticed that to... oh well... Life is good for me for today...meds are beginning to get to work, and am feeling the effects...Spent a lot of time on the phone with my boyfriend last night...Always interesting and fun, especially when he's racing around in the cop car, trying to get from point A, to point B, and then back to near point A, in less than 30 minutes in downtown houston traffic...So I got my adrenaline high, and got to talk to my beaux too...so all is well...Hope is the same for all of ya'll also...Heidi:%)

I was thinking more along the lines of a clean skirt and nice underwear. Going thru a bit of lacy thong phase at the moment. Very liberating

i had a great day. i had my last exam for the year- geography and it was really really easy. and now i've 9 weeks of holidays

Well as you asked. Absolutely lousy. Tomorrow promises to be no better.

Ridiculously busy, being pulling in 14hr days for the past 2 weeks. Supposed to be on leave, it's a big holiday here.I'm the only one left in the office. Cellphone rings constantly during the day with calls from Asia and all during the night from the US. Haven't had a decent nights sleep in God knows when. Haven't had a proper meal in days. My wife has had enough and gone to spend the holidays with her mother and I'm quickly running out of clean underwear (not that I expect her to do it, but if I ain't got time to eat I ain't got time to do laundry).All in all life is hell and I see no respite until the holidays are over and everyone gets back, a few days of me kicking everyone and i'll probably get back to some semblance of normality.

Ok my sandwich is finished (dinner) back to work !!!!

well, the antibiotics are really starting to make me feel icky now, I keep losing my balance and falling over, as well as my apetite being all messed up. And I had my first ever XP BSOD today
other than that, I've had a lovely few days with my bf, my tummy feels better than it has for ages, even though the AB's have messedwith it a bit, i'm feeling really positive that I coul;d finally have found the answer to my gut problems. oh, and the AB's keep giving me this fantastic sense of euphoria, which is nice (can you tell it's happening now )

Sorry to hear about your Grandma, Dave. Hopefully the family will pull together. Frank is happy as ever I see, that's great. Looks like most people have work woes, facts of life sometimes....unfortunately.
