what was your first fish that you owned.
i didnt start out with a betta or goldfish but my dad let me help with his huge reef and the first fish i had was a solid black finless moray eel i think but it jumped out of the tank. tne first fish that i ever took care of by myself was a betta

Goldfish that my workmate bought for me. Still have that little guy, he is very beautiful with a swishy tail.

His name? Wish-ga!!!!!!!!

My first fish was A bronze cory!
Never got a goldfish or a betta as I dislike goldfish (especially those poorHybrids etc; Bubble eyes, ranchows)and most bettas around my area are terrible)

I think I still have the little guy?, with the other eight
he's about 3 years old now.

Just to think It started with him
now I have 4 huge tanks with...
2x blue acaras
12x Apistogramma
8x bronze cories
4x peppered cories
1x albino cory
20x emperor tetras
4x silver dollars
1x discus
2x bristle nose
2x pictus catfish
2x clownloach
1x black ghost knife fish
1x sailfin pleco
30+ white clouds

A yabbie named Presto. Dad caught him in the local river

Then it sort of blossommed into fully fledged fishkeeping a few years ago when i bought Priscilla the red VT betta for mt other half as a gift Not that he ever got it
