The temp outside is -19 C and it will drop to -29 tonight, anyone from more tropical areas who could send me a nice warm pic to warm my bones by. It would be greatly appreciated.

it was about 29C yesterday here in texas but today it's about 7C. but i suppose if you're having -29C, that 7C is probably a heat wave

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions

It snowed here briefly this past Saturday. Didn't stick though. We don't get much snow in Alabama so everyone was excited.
We are having strange weather. It was about 75F yesterday and today the high is 40F. It goes back and forth. This past weekend temps stayed in the 30s (F). Weird.
I could not live where it gets below freezing. I don't like snow at all.

Okay, I live in very far South Texas (on the Rio Grande River actually) and it has been in the 80's here a lot lately. The coldest it's been this winter is 35(all temps listed as Farenheit)....so we're tropical. Here's a pic of the downtown district of where I am....Harlingen, Texas. Hope it helps!

Thanks everyone! Yes when it's -29 C, 7 C will feel like a heatwave. Yesterday it got up to -9C and I felt like running around with no coat on. Our weather is about to warm-up again, we've actually had rather strange weather this year, it's only dropped to below -20C a couple of times and this one seemed much colder beacuse I wasn't ready for it.

All that snow Adam, I'm actually jealous as we have had very little snow and that's a lot more than we have now. The boys really want to go sledding but there isn't enough for that. The lack of snow seems to make the cold feel colder as well. Keep the warmth coming, I'm starting to feel toasty, and if you have good snow pics send them too!

GirlieGirl: It's funny I grew up with metric conversion and yet some things only come out in imperial, inches, some temps, measurements. Weird!
