There are people running around like ants, rain is NOT something we expect here, and it absolutely bucketted down yesterday, and everyone is preparing for another downpour today. Rain almost every night, usually a thunderstorm to go with it. Absolute bliss! I don't think it did much for the dam unfortunately but hopefully we'll get some more throughout summer. Last week my partner and I gave ourselves a blackout night - it was storming and really raining buckets. We turned off the TV, turned off all the lights, lit candles and sat with the door open, wine glass in hand, watching the lightning and getting the fresh rainy air.
