Callatya attached this image:

I think the main bit is going to miss us, but we are going to cop it a little. There are people running around like ants, rain is NOT something we expect here, and it absolutely bucketted down yesterday, and everyone is preparing for another downpour today.

People are mowing, and repairing fences, and sticking tarps on rooves, and i'd say nearly double the regular amount are at the shopping centre

Its totally cool

We even had lightning

Send the rain down to me when you're done with it Calla?

supposed to rain here this afternoon, but the way the weather works i'm sure it won't happen. any time they predict rain, if the chance is less than 100% it always misses here

Sounds like you're getting something like we had last week Calla. Rain almost every night, usually a thunderstorm to go with it. Absolute bliss! I don't think it did much for the dam unfortunately but hopefully we'll get some more throughout summer.

Last week my partner and I gave ourselves a blackout night - it was storming and really raining buckets. We turned off the TV, turned off all the lights, lit candles and sat with the door open, wine glass in hand, watching the lightning and getting the fresh rainy air.
