As I've been watching and reading noone was seriously hurt, so this is a blessing...

Again I must ask, why are people doing this? We are all human, we may not agree in a lot of things, but please why must some people think it is necessary to kill others because they don't believe as you do

So I guess we are back into high alert, some places higher than others I know...everyone take care, and be careful...hml

Yeah i heard it on the news..it's terrible..
Thats good nobody got killed this time...but iam affraid it will not be the last bombing in London or anywhere else..
Norway has got some threats too..so we are on high alert as well.

Boy did I cut it close. The first attack was 3 days after I left London, and the second was a day before I arrived again.

i think the london police have overstepped their bounds by killing that innocent man the other day ]:| especially shooting him FIVE TIMES?? IN THE HEAD??? AFTER THEY HAD WRESTLED HIM TO THE FLOOR???? ]:|]:|]:|]:|]:| i realize they thought they were chasing a terrorist suspect, but is it necessary to use such excessive force after a few of them had him on the ground? ]:|]:|]:|

Janna let me be the overprotective mother hen and say, "Get your bottom home, young lady! We don't need something to happen to you" sorry the mother hen comes out every so often and ya'll know I worry a bit too much about some of you kiddos, and well some adults alike

And Moondog, I agree, unless they were in danger themselves there was no need to shoot him 5 times...if it was necessary to shoot him, once in my opinion would have been enough, unless of course they felt they were in danger themselves and then things do tend to change won't go into the story about the guy i dragged around backwards till I could get County to help me out

That said I hope some of this comes to an end I'm tired of hearing of the bombings and shootings and such...hml

Not that I approve of the killing of an innocent man at all, my first response to hearing that (even before it was known he was innocent) was "poor chap, he probably rushed to get the train". We all do that around here.

However, some common sense by us Londoners is also needed. When getting on a train everyone is looking around to see if there are any suspects and you know that everyone is nervours, so running from the police a day after 4 other bombs didn't explode is a stupid idea.

As for the 5 shots to the head, it is sadly a known procedure. Aiming at other body parts might trigger the bomb (if there is one, that is) to explode.

To Janna, welcome back to London. I think you will find it's changed a bit since your last visit. Please don't rush to the train, there's always the next one (in theory, at least).
